NASHVILLE - (September 10, 2008)- Carrie Underwood’s ride continues as she garners two 2008 CMA Award nominations- Album of The Year, for the multi-platinum CD Carnival Ride with producer Mark Bright, and Female Vocalist of The Year, an honor she has won the past two years. Underwood learned the good news this morning as she was heading into tour rehearsals.
Congratulations, Carrie, on your American Music Award nominations for Favorite Female Artist -Country and Favorite Album-Country for Carnival Ride.
The 2008 American Music Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will be broadcast live on Sunday, November 23 at 8pm ET/PT.
